Around 80 professionals attended the NAB update sessions that took place on May 23rd and 24th at BCS’s training center in Cebaco Center on Dora Highway. The sessions were conducted by Sony & BCS and covered Sony’s new releases in 3D technology, XDCAM & NXCAM line-ups, Sony new switchers for small & medium scale as well as high grade productions, low cost HD/SD studio cameras and a new range of OLED monitors, all of which were introduced during the NAB convention that took place in Las Vegas in April 2011.

On the other hand, an exclusive session on Sony’s new additions to their HDCAM SR line-up featuring the F65 4K digital cinematography camera, the HDCAM SR memory camcorder and an extensive range of HDCAM SR memory recorders also took place on May 23rd and allowed the attendants to share their experiences using the various field recording methods and discover the difference between the different digital cinematography products offered by Sony.
