BCS delivered the first Sony HD studio camera in Lebanon, to MCF-MI (May Chidiac Foundation - Media Institute.)

MCF-MI has equipped its training facilities in Lebanon with the Sony HXC-100 HD/SD camera. The camera chain was complemented with the Sony BRS-200 HD/SD switcher and Sony HDV recording VTR, thereby creating the first HD setup of its kind in Lebanon and in an educational institute in particular.

MCF-MI invested in HD technology since it seeks to help new graduates enhance their market readiness and help professionals improve their skills through practical learning in media. On the other hand and since 1990, BCS aim to help educational institutes in Lebanon equip their facilities and also keep them up-to-date with the new technology releases, in an attempt to reinforce Lebanon’s reputation of being the region’s talent reservoir in the media industry.

Further to the above it was only normal that BCS encourage MCF-MI with their endeavor by building, delivering and installing a full HD system and help them make MCF-MI’s dream of bridging the gap between academia and industry come true.
